Yup, another year, and this is going to be an exciting year. My birthday couldn't begin better, Rick sent me flowers to my office the day before, as he always does, and I became the envy of my aisle. The next morning, Jeremy gave mommy a card he picked our, naturally, a Cat in the Hat card, in bed and read it out loud to mom. He even wrote, "I love you, Mom" on the card. Ooooh, that just melted my heart. I couldn't have been happier. The day went on and it got better and better. The family went to the Monterey aquarium. PoPo turned into a kid. She was so excited to see all the exhibits and even excited to touch the sea stars in the touch pool, it was worth every penny. Jeremy was so happy, he knew all the places he wanted to go, and had a blissful time. The weather was perfect, 65F and the sun came in and out on the beautiful seaside.
Rick and I had a date too, thanks to PoPo. It was the first time we had a date in a long long time. We had some really good dinner and then went for the Avatar 3D IMAX. A perfect day, indeed. We were very much surprised that Jeremy was fine and didn't make any fuss the whole night with PoPo.
