Rick was picking up Jeremy from his new school yesterday, it was very hot day, in the high 80's.
Rick: Jeremy, we are going to swim today.
Jeremy: Amazing trunks, how sweet thou are....(singing in the tone of Amazing Grace)
Rick: hahahah
Jeremy's very good at making up songs and entertaining himself. Like singing "I am a cat, I am a cat, I am a hatty hatty cat!" and laughes at himself.
Or saying, "Once upon a time, there was a happy green frog, the end, the end." Laughes at himself.
Jeremy's doing well and fully adjusted to his new school(bilingual school with both English and Chinese speaking teachers). He likes his teachers and they said he finally napped, ate and joined in all activities. In the first couple days, he was having a bit of difficult time to the new environment. So, in the morning when he knew I was not driving in the direction of his old school,(he can tell directions!) he would say, "No orange school! No orange playground?!" The new school has orange doors so he calls it the "orange school". But he is a happy camper now.
AND, are we all ready for this?! He's completely potty trained! No more poopy pants! He asked to go poopoo and peepee, he's now a expert peepee'r and a professional poopoo'r. :o) Our journey and angst for the past year and a half are now officially over, the boy is trained, he doesn't need to find a college roommate who can change diapers afterall. What a relief to the worrisome parents. ;o)

I haven't commented for a long time but I still read the blog, that is so funny about Jeremy making up songs...what a smart boy he is. He has grown also from our visit in April, it's like all of a sudden too. His head is shaped like Uncle Gerry's head, he still reminds me of a little Unlce Gerry...LOL
Deb
I wonder if he gets his seriousness nature from Uncle Gerry too...
