Another reflection
I have come to the realization that I am addicted to this blog. Maybe not in the way you are thinking. I am co-administrator of this thing and frankly it is sometimes a pain to upload both mpegs and jpegs - picking which 5 or 6 pics out of 50 should be uploaded; waiting for high file size mpegs to upload; having blogspot crash seemingly every time I try to post; etc, etc. I keep doing it knowing that family members that we see once a year (MAYBE!) really use it to stay in touch with us. I also want Jeremy to feel the same way I did growing up and knowing his family is always there for him. I know, I know...this blog doesn't exactly accomplish THAT, but I know that it makes the family feel they know who Jeremy is and in a way are growing up with him. That I am sure makes the family feel closer to him and will allow everyone to kind of know what his character is when they actually see him in person. Of course, he will only see strangers at first, but I will know in my heart that he's a full part of the family. All that is great, but that is not the reason I am addicted to this blog. As I posted the pictures below, I reflected on the weekend we all had in Bodega Bay. It was a traffic ridden, slow, slow drive both there and home, we had some very "Jeremy cranky" moments during the entire weekend...but looking back at these pictures makes me realize how many great memories I will take from my 26th birthday (except the memory of my real age that is). Simply put - we had fun. Both at the vacation rental and as you can see from below, also on the exact same night we got home from the 3 hour drive - right to our yard for grilling and running around.
I love this blog.

I wish you could make a living grilling. Oh wait, you actually can make a living grilling.
I love this blog.
