Birthday Weekend in Carmel

For Mom's last birthday before the big 40, the Franciscos went to Carmel for the long weekend. It was very heart warming to see the two kids playing together in the sand on the beach, Jeremy finally is no longer annoyed by the sand and was happily playing, though he still carried his books everywhere. It was nice and relaxing, but mornings on the beach was quite cold though. We made good use of our membership at the Monterey Bay Aquarium as well. It is nice to turn 39 on the beach in California, if you ever have to turn 39, having a birthday or birth night at the beach is the way to go. :-) Thanks Auntie Peggy for keeping us companied, hope you have fun too!
