Taste of Solvang 2009

The family welcomed Spring 2009 in Solvang, enjoying the sceneries, spring fresh air, buttery danishes, and revisiting "Sideways". It was wonderful weekend.

We stopped by Paso Robles for some cheese and playground time on our way down. Weather was just fantastic! Love the California central coast!

The street view of the Wine Valley Inn we stayed at. Love those mountains.

Pam's postcard picture of Solvang's windmill, hmm, I am good.

Real cool castle playground in Solvang.

The Hitching Post II restaurant, Rick somehow was able to get a table for dinner from the manager's discretion. There were lines and lines of people waiting for tables when we left. I had ostrich steak, it was fantastic. Jeremy had the top sirloin kid's meal, wow, he ate the whole thing, I guess this little kid's got some expensive taste.

Look at those two in the background...checking out stuff

Time for some ice-cream

Some food and wine please!

Jeremy's a good sport waiting for Dad to do his wine tasting one tasting room at a time, and playing with Mom outside the stores
