Jeremy Spring Update

Hooray! We did it, he's got potty power! Jeremy's officially potty trained. Rick and I are very relieved after a year's struggle. We put a stake in the ground, I took 3 days off and Rick took 2 days off and with persistence and lots of loads of laundries later, we say adios to the diaper stage after 3 years and 2 months!
What did it? Well, the boy is not into awards and praises, so we got really mad at him, and yelled at him, every time he wet his pants, we put him on timeout.  Completely opposite to all the books and videos and articles that experts were given. We went back to traditional methods, so, it really does depending on your kid's personality and specific needs. Again, it is proven that parents know the best.
But hey, now he asked to go peepee and poopoo when he needs to. We can now take him out to parks and restaurants without the diaper bag! Yay! It is a milestone for the entire family.
Anyways, here is a picture of Jeremy playing in the yard with his little friend, Faith. She's only 6 months older, but behaves like she's 2 years older. We were very amazed at the difference between boys and girls and the difference of 6 months at this stage.
Jeremy in the sea of toys and on top of dad.

Pam's also taking quite a few pictures of the garden, the weather is beautiful, flowers are blooming, sweet scents of jasmine is in the air, all are good, life is good again with the boy who now knows how to go potty.
