OK, back to potty training. Such an important subject that every parent would have lots of personal experience to share. We had a saga regarding this. We could actually write a book of how to fail potty training. First, we showed Jeremy the potty books, posted a poster in the bathroom, bought a musical potty, and also an insert and stools in each bathroom, Rick even wrote a "Cat in the Hat" like rhymes, we then showed him potty videos. We bought McQueen and Thomas the engine underwares. We notified Jeremy that he would be a big boy and we would start training him. First try, in July, we spent 2 days trying, Jeremy was just doing his business with or without the diaper, and sat in his pee while playing like nothing happened. Second try in Thanksgiving, the boy refused to eat and drink for 3 days, and his belly was so bloated, we were scared and had to stop. But he did successfully pee into the toilet twice. Once even asked to go peepee at 3am. Third try during Christmas holidays, Jeremy has completely regressed and forgot to tell us he had to pee or poo. We would take him to potty, nothing, he played with water, read books, counted numbers, do swinging dance on the stool in the bathroom, nothing. And the minute we took him out, he would pee in his pants. After cleaning up poopy pants a couple times, we gave up. Fourth try this past weekend, since his teach in daycare said they would start him along with 7 other kids, this week, so we figured we would get him used to the idea again. It got worse, can you imagine? can this get any worse. Oh, yeah, he would use his pull up like a diaper and continue to do number 2 in there while the pull up would be leaking stuff, and he would be playing basketball in the living room like nothing happened. Or he would hide behind the sofa and grunting it out and when asked, "Are you poopooing?", he would give me a snicky smile, by the time we took him to the potty, we would have poopy pants to deal with again....So, what happened this Monday? We were so anxious that maybe the teachers would have better luck? Guess what? The teacher complained that the pull ups we bought were not the ones they preferred! (Why didn't they tell us last Friday?!) So, they didn't start him on potty training. Then, Rick has to go to the stores at night and bought the new pull ups, and he got started today. But, well, he sat on the potty as directed, but no results...So, this saga will continue....Rick and I have given up trying, we figured that by 5 he would have to learn to use the potty anyways, so we will not be stressing out on it...He just won't advance to the next class that's all. He can continue to be the "Diaper PHD" as my dad(Gong Gong) would call him and enjoy himself.

Lol, so funny. You could let him wait until high school. I am sure peer pressure will make him not want to wear a diaper by then.
Hahaha.. yeh.. i am very sure u can write a book on this :-p
Yup, Rick said the same thing, that he hoped Jeremy would find a college roommate who can change diapers. :o)
