Jeremy has an incredible memory. He loves books. After reading a book to him for about a week (every day, maybe twice a day), he will have the entire thing memorized. Word for word, no omission. If you try to skip a word while reading to him, he will correct. And don't try to skip an entire page, unless you want to start over. I started reading "There's No Place Like Space" (another Dr. Seuss Learning Library book - his favorites) and he started reciting it back a week later. Translation below the video.
A planet can have satellites that surround it. Uranus has lots of these objects around it.
There are colors in space, I will show some to you. Neptune, you see, is a beautiful blue.
If you lived on Pluto, it would not be so nice. Some astronomers think it is covered with ice.
It is chilly and cold every night and all day for the sun's just a speck in the sky far away.
An astronomer studies what's up in the sky. Thing Two wants to be one. In fact, so do I.
We have seen all nine planets. Now here is a trick, to remember their names and remember them quick. Say:
Mallory Valerie Emily Meetzahs just served us nine hundred ninety nine pizzas.
Mercury Venus Earth Mars Jupiter Saturn Uranus Neptune Pluto. M-V-E-M-J-S-U-N-P
