Jeremy's weekend
Jeremy has been an angel over the last few weeks. We had a stretch there of "terrible 2" tantrums with his emotions completely out of control at the hint of something not going his way. The last few weeks have been perfect. Absolutely perfect. Over this past weekend, however, he got sick for the first time in a while. Sunday night, his fever started and by Monday AM it was full blown. And for the first time ever, we were unable to control it in the first few hours. His temperature started increasing during the day Monday instead of the usual decrease with our intervention. Pam was going to take him in but realized we were underdosing his medicines (we still want him to be an infant I guess). Once we got the proper dosage, we hit familiar territory of fever dropping and his spirit slowly coming back to normal. You'd think after so many of these incidents, we'd be old pros at this. Well, he is only 30 months old and he can still scare his parents once in a while. Pam had to take work off on Monday and me today. Pam definitely had the worst of it as by about 2PM today, he was getting totally back to normal. The 2 pics here show the beginning of his sickness and then the end. Although both pictures are in completely different moods and states of health, he manages to be cute in both!
Most of this serious/scowl look is JC's natural disposition as most people know, but there is a little illness rolled into his face on this one.
Back to my normal, very cute self!

Is he reading about the Hebs again?
Yes he is. Plus he's also reading lots of Dr. Seuse books. Bookworm that one.
