Woohoo!!! The Tigers are in the ALCS after a couple of decades of misery. And who did they have to beat to get here? Only the New York Yankees! Hope George wasn't watching. He probably realizes now that $175 million just doesn't go as far as it used to. A-Rod 1 for the entire series? Nice. Where was I at the clinching moment? In the park with my family. To all of you huge sports fans shaking your head right now, I did wait until it was 8-0 before I left for the park though (and STILL Tivo'd it). So long Bronx, hope to see you soon Flushing? After a couple of days of rain, back to abundant sunshine. And our typical routine of going to the park. Whenever Jeremy goes down the slide lately, we've been saying "Whee!!" to try to make him smile. Out of the mouths of babes....
