Long weekend

JC was sick over the weekend. That makes for very long, exhausting weekends. I'll take 5 times worse sickness than JC if it could prevent him from being sick. It's quite a drag. During the times, however, the infant Tylenol kicked in we were able to do a few things. Of course the park, and we were able on Sunday to go out to the local farmer's market. Here you'll see the effects of being feverish most of the weekend. He was so exhausted he fell asleep in the back pack while walking around the market. He's also learning at an astronomical pace. His vocabulary is building and he's learning to verbally communicate with us a little more. In the video, he has learned how to sing Happy Birthday (sort of) because of the rash of b-day parties he's had at school lately. Of course instead of singing Happy Birthday to you, it come out more like hap bidaa....biday.

October weather is the best weather of the year. As I was watching the 33 degree windchill in Comerica Park the other night, a few friends and I were in shorts grilling burgers, chicken and pork on my deck drinking Heineken (like Yzerman) and of course my convenient wine collection.

That's all for now....
