Rain in late May?!?!?!?

Well after 4 weeks of beautiful rain free weather, we had what the weathermen on TV are calling a freak storm this past weekend. It actually rained! Big deal you say? Well for those unfamiliar with Bay Area weather, this is a strange and rare occurrence. After the spring rains in late March, early April it does not rain again until about Thanksgiving. It even rained in LA where it is even less likely. Did not affect us that much, though, as Pam has been very sick the last few days and we were not going to be able to do that much even if the weather was nice. Also - we received a surprise phone call late last week when Popo told us that she bought herself a ticket to visit us. We picked her up from the airport on Sunday and JC and Popo were very excited to see each other. Jeremy is still going to daycare during the day which leaves Popo with a lot of time on her hands. Which is why I came home from work tonight to a spotless house! Woohoo! Anyway - here's a few pics. One is from the airport where Jeremy fell asleep in the car and then in my arms and the others are from a garden we visited in Palo Alto.
