The heat is on

Yesterday (Sunday) was a scorcher. It was 90 degrees for most of the day which made all of us very fatigued every time we went out. After church and a mother's day brunch, we all came home to take a nap. After the nap, over to the farmer's market and the mall, then home for another nap (mom and dad too!). Around 5:30PM, the temperature was still around 85, so we figured we'd take advantage of the "cool" weather and walk to the park. Jeremy had a great time there on the swings and playing in the sand watching the older kids climb the monkey bars and go down the slides. It was a good weekend. He went back to daycare today after basically a week off, and again did not cry when mom dropped him off. He came home in a very good mood and was playing all night long (not that I would know since I had to work until 8PM tonight!!). The price you pay, I guess, for working half time last week.
