Saturday, we went hiking near a winery, Picchetti winery in Stevens Canyon, on the zinfandel trail, there were resident peacocks, one walks by an old orchard with apple trees blooming profusely, a nice tranquil pond, and finally very nice view over looking the foothills and Stevens creek reservoir. The weather couldn't be nicer, clear blue sky, nice breeze. JC did very well, didn't complain at all, and was humming to himself all the way. After the hike, we stopped by the winery to have a picnic, and daddy did a wine tasting.
All were good, except that after JC's nap, he woke up with a fever. We don't know why, maybe he is teething, or just trying to build his immune system. There was no insect bite on him, so we rule out the lymme disease doubt. Anyways, his fever has kinda under control after giving him some meds again. His cold has been there ever since he started day care. Sunday, he did very well at church, then we went to have sunday brunch, and on our way back from farmers' market, he fell asleep in the back carrier, head bobbing here and there, cute. Hopefully, that fever will go away soon. So, that's our emotional roller coaster condensed in a weekend. Hope everyone has a great week ahead!

I met a daycare baby yesterday. He is 9 months old and has been in daycare since 2 ½ months. He is the friendliest baby I ever met. He is very sociable and plays with all other babies. He lets strangers hold him, and didn’t cry when the parents left the room. I am just pointing a benefit of daycare since you are having a hard time with the infections.
The benefit is definitely there, just that, he started day care for a month, and had 2 fevers already, and i missed 2 weeks of work too. Maybe when summer starts he will be sick less often.
