California for a reason

This is why we moved back. With the rain finally gone, Pam and I are finally able to take JC to some of the places that made us want to move back to California. The last time we were in Santa Cruz was only a few years ago, but it seems like we were so much younger then. Now parents, we are able to share our best memories we have with each other with our son - and it's better than before. Even the drive down Highway 17 brought back a rush of great memories. After a great breakfast sitting on a deck over a marina, the three of us took a stroll along the beach and played in the sand a little. It was a little cloudy, but it didn't damper anybody's spirits. In fact, it just reinfoced what we already had no doubts about - we're staying here for the long haul.
