2nd week of daycare complete

The 2nd week of daycare ended on a positive note. When Pam went to pick JC up on Friday, he was trying to climb on a plastic slide in the daycare room. Also, he started blowing kisses to mommy and smiling. Hopefully this is a good trend. The biggest issue at daycare is he is having trouble napping. If he could get back to his regular nap schedule, I think we'd be home free. Plus he's sick, but we were sort of expecting that with daycare for a while. This past weekend was great again - I guess the good thing about having him go to daycare all week long, is that all 3 of us appreciate the weekend that much more. For him, he's certainly glad to be with us for 48 straight hours, and for us it's just great to be able to spend all of our time devoted to the family. Weekends are great nowadays (they always have been, but daycare has made us appreciate it more). Not much else going in in Casa Francisco. The weather has been absolutely terrible. I can't believe we moved to this area (kidding - never leaving again unless it's down to Southern Cal). It has been horrible though. March was the rainiest one in San Francisco, San Jose and Oakland since like 1908. Over the last 18 days, we've had ONE sunny day. This week calls for rain every day through Friday. Sigh. It's depressing. I was glad to hear, however, that a few days ago it snowed in Connecticut. It melted right away, but it snowed. That made me feel a whole lot better. That's it for now. Enjoy JC eating his crab noodles....
