He all - just a not so subtle reminder that we live in California. Today, for our walk in the park with the family, it was about 65F and I decide to wear my beach sandles - you know being January and all. Panoramic views of the bay, sunshine, no clouds - Another perfect day. Now I remember just why I'm so convinced that midwestern and east coast sports fans are much more rabid than their west coast counterparts - it's just much more fun to go outside than sit and watch TV!! That will change for me, however when I watch Steelers and Seahawks (one of my favorite teams) play in Detroit in a few weeks.
JC has grown a lot, his two top teeth are coming in, he started really crawling (albeit BACKWARDS!!) and he's beginning to take a few small steps. He falls a alot and we're careful to let him, since that's the best way he'll learn. He cries for a second or two, realizes it's not that big a deal, and tries again. My boy!! He's learned to wave bye bye when you actually say bye bye. Problem is, he waves bye bye to himself and not the person who's actually leaving. He is also saying "da" but I'm still not sure if he's referring to me or not. I like to think he is. When he says "ma" I'm pretty convinved it's Pam. Anyway, he does say both - Ma and Da. OK - off to watch our brand new 40" LCD HD flat panel TV!!!! Only reason we bought it is to entice more family members to come visit (that's what we'll say in the blog - the truth is with JC around, our life is pretty much watching the TV). Can't wait till he can walk, then we're going to really tire his butt out by hiking and that's the way we'll sleep train him. Just tire him out till he passes out from exhaustion. yeah right - i'm sure Pam and I will be saying: "Oh my God when is this kid going to get tired?" OK for now. Check back again....
