Sorry for the hungry fans of JC, I forgot to pack the battery charger for our camera, so now we can't take any more pictures of JC smiling under the Californian sun. There won't be any picture for a while until we move into our house in Jan. If Rick can find the monitor cable, maybe we can post some of the previous pictures to give everyone a surprise!
Every day it was like a whirlwind here, I have to get used to saying goodbye to JC every morning and the working life again, the commute, the office cube, the whole nine yard. Didn't realize I got spoiled by working from home for the last 2 years in my pajamas. :o)
For those of you who didn't know yet, our offer on the town house in Mountain view got accepted. And I just got an offer from Network Appliance. I will start the new year with a new job and a new house!
JC loves life here, he goes out with PoPo every morning to feed the ducks, there is a duck pond right outside of our apartment and share half of his crackers with the ducks. Then he goes out to the children's playground to meet his new friends. There are 2 kids, one at 16 months(same height as JC) and one at 24 months who love to hang out with him on the swing set. All three of them don't speak, according to PoPo they just squeal at one another. He's got a tan as well, like any other California boy, I can just see he will be on a surf board soon. :o) On the weekends, we took him and popo out to San Francisco for dimsum and Half moon bay to see the seals. Thanksgiving was uneventful, I roasted my first 13lb turkey, it turned out to be very delicious so leftovers for the last 5 days weren't too dreadful to endure. We have started a new Francisco family tradition here.
OK, that's all the update for now, will post pictures if Rick doesn't break the computer.
