Daddy's back, and for some reason, he's got new tricks to make JC laugh hysterically. We got it on a movie, we have not heard him laughing so loud before, he had to catch his breath many times. Too bad we haven't figured out how to upload it to the blog, it would be a great hit. He also started to laugh at strangers as well, we took him to church and he was laughing to the little boy and people behind our pew! So, people are right that the 8th month is a golden month!
We also have started sleep training again, this time around, maybe he's old enough, he didn't cry much, first night, he cried for 2 minutes, twisted and turned for an hour and fell asleep by himself, no rocking, no nursing, no sling. Yeah! The second night, he didn't cry at all, twisted and turned for 45 minutes and fell asleep by himself. The 3rd night, he twisted and turned for 20 minutes, and that's all. But he does need Mommy to stand next to his bed so that he knows mummy's there, but won't pick him up.
Last night, JC had a fever and was up most of the night, but Daddy was able to make him laugh while he was trying to whine. Such a good boy! We think he must be teething again, hopefully we will see another tooth soon.

Is that a tooth coming in at the bottom or is it a reflection? Too bad he wasn't laughing like this when we were there.
No reflection - that's a tooth. Not only is he laughing a lot (well not right now since he's sick) but he was laughing at the people in church - complete strangers which he has never done before!
